Who does what
Every tour listed here is sold and operated by a third party. The Fairbanks-area operators that appear on this site are Rod's Alaskan Guide Service, 1st Alaska Tours, 1st Alaska Outdoor School, Howling Bay Kennel, Last Frontier Mushing Co-op, Alaska Journey Tours, Basecamp Adventures and Arctic Dog Adventure Co. Their name and the product ID appear on each tour page so you can check the listing yourself.
The operator runs the tour, the platform takes your payment and holds your booking, and both set the price, the inclusions and the cancellation terms. We have no authority to make commitments on their behalf and cannot change, refund or reschedule anything.
What the commission does not buy
Placement, ratings and wording are not for sale, and no operator has paid to appear here or to be described in a particular way. The practical test is on the pages themselves. The tour we point to first is the cheapest one on the site, at $115, which pays us the least of anything listed.
The tour that pays the most carries the page's most pointed passage. A $499 listing with no reviews yet, and we say so.
Ratings and reviews
Ratings and review counts are the platform's own, read on the date shown on each page. From 5.0 across 1,613 reviews down to a new listing with none at all, in September 2026. We do not calculate a site rating of our own, because this site has no customers and therefore no reviews to average.
Review quotes carry the reviewer's first name, country and travel month exactly as published on the listing.
Prices
Every price on this site carries the month it was last read. Operators change prices through the season and platforms show different currencies to different visitors, so treat every figure here as a guide and the checkout page as the truth.
